I am a craftaholic and don’t care to recover. I am a daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, mother, and wife who has entered her 4th decade of life. I have been happily married to the same guy for 19 years (we’ve been together for 21 yrs). He is my best friend, confessor, balance, and wrestling partner. I have 7 children with 6 of them still living at home. Because of them I am well versed in the worlds of the 21+, high schoolers, middle schoolers, elementary schoolers, and pre-schoolers. (Go ahead test my knowledge.) I spend my day figuring out to make sure they are just as twisted as I am. I have a wonderful dog named Red Rose Primous-Jackson. She is 9 yrs. old but still a puppy at heart.
When I am not blogging I am most likely creating a new art piece to satisfy my megalomania and goddess complex. I am not a religious practitioner but I believe in a higher power because if human kind is the pinnacle of evolution we are all screwed. Oh yeah, and I am an American Black.
I can be found on Facebook (Barbara Primous-Jackson), Pintrest (Barbara Primous-Jackson), Twitter(@barbarayvette), Blogger(Musings of A Desert Crackpot – typically the same posts that appear here), Tumblr (ares the goddess), My_, Tagged, Flikr and just roaming the interwebs looking for new ideas and entertainment.
I am not seeking validation because I know my views are valid. Even if they aren’t valid for you they are for me. (I mean why would someone as awesome as I am need outside validation.) I tell my truth as I see it. I don’t care if you agree or not. My goal is only to relieve my brain of the thoughts that swirl around in the chaos. This blog’s content will be whatever my interest or desire is at that moment. My thoughts tend to go in cycles. One post, I may be all into poetry. Another post, it might be fashion. I may post about my children and their role in society. And still, another post may be history. No matter the content, the unifying theme will be my point of view. Come along on this ride with me; I hope it is as fun for you as it is for me.
